A 'Dutch Barn' inspired home. This home replaces a dilapidated, poorly insulated building with a stimulating, warm, light home, nestled into the landscape.

The proposal has been carefully positioned to take full advantage of both the magnificent views and the passive solar potential of the place. From the north west the property presents a simple form to the road and prevailing wind, consisting of a stone wall and gently curving roof, Inspired by a neighbouring dutch barn. The plan and form open to the south, exploding internal spaces into the landscape and invigorating each room with natural light.
